JiJi is a math software program that includes game puzzles that start off simple and get more challenging as a student progresses. When they reach a challenging problem, your child should attempt the problem and use the visual feedback provided to help them figure out why their answer did or did not work.
 
 
 
 
Code.org is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. Their vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science.
Students can learn to code with their favorite characters from Angry Birds, Star Wars, Minecraft, Frozen and more!!
 
 
 
 
Glogster is the leading global education platform for digital learning and expression of knowledge and skills in the classroom and beyond. They empower educators and students to adopt modern principles and methods of learning by using the interface of Glog® and their library of relevant educational content.
It is used by Baker students in grades 3-5.

 


Kiddle is a visual search engine for kids, powered by editors and Google safe search.

Search results are hand-picked by editors to ensure their kid-friendliness.
The first 1-3 results will always be curated by the editors - safe sites written specifically for children.
The next few results will feature sites in simple language that will be easy for kids to understand.
The rest will be sites tailored to adults that may be harder for kids to digest, but are still filtered by Google safe search to avoid stumbling on anything inappropriate.

 
 
 
Typing Club will assist you with learning and improving your typing speed! Practice each lesson over and over to at least get all three stars. It really doesn't take much to learn, a few minutes a day for one to two weeks and you will be a pro! 2nd-5th graders will be assigned a username and password at school.
 
 
 
 
Big Universe has 10,000+ leveled eBooks for grades K-12 with tools for writing, listening, and more! Once you log in, click on "Library" at the top to see all the books.
