SAN JOSE, Calif. – Sept. 25, 2026 – The Moreland Education Foundation (MEF) is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved Pumpkin Patch and haunted trail for the 2026 fall season.
Open to the public and families across all seven Moreland School District schools, this year’s pumpkin patch promises even more excitement, with festive entertainment, seasonal treats, and a can’t-miss Halloween celebration.
The Moreland Pumpkin Patch features a popular interactive, self-guided haunted trail in partnership with Grimm’s Hollow. This spooktacular labyrinth has a new theme every year and is a huge hit with audiences ages 5 and up. This year’s trail theme is Grimm Manor. Trail tickets are sold on-site at the patch.
All funds raised at the Moreland Pumpkin Patch go directly to supporting Moreland schools via MEF. For more than 30 years, MEF has protected sports, music, and other school community enrichment programs throughout the district.
"The Pumpkin Patch is a longstanding, beloved Moreland tradition," said Dr. Clover Codd, superintendent of the Moreland School District. "Seeing students, families and neighbors come together to celebrate the season is exactly what makes our community so special."
Hours and Special Dates:
The patch is open Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 5 to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 9-31, 2026. It will be closed Sunday, Oct. 11.
Special Dates:
Join us October 25, 2026 for a Film Festival, with films created by students from Moreland middle schools.

As one of the few community-led fall celebrations in the South Bay, the pumpkin patch brings families together to connect, make lasting memories and support local Moreland schools.
