Since the 2021/2022 school year is serving meals at no cost to Moreland students, it is important that families complete the Alternative Household Application income application before September 25, 2021. Moreland receives funding based on students that qualify for free/reduced meal applications.

On September 13th students in grades 3rd - 5th received/or will be receiving a Chromebook if authorization was given through the first day packet. Their classroom teacher will set expectations for when to bring their Chromebook to school. Baker will have extra Chromebooks on site if a student forgets or doesn’t charge their Chromebook. If you child does not receive a Chromebook and you would like them to have one please contact Mr. Barbara at [email protected].

Moreland is excited to offer online classes to our community where you can Improve your skills in English speaking, reading and writing while meeting new friends. All levels are welcome! Moreland School District will start offering free Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) COVID testing for Moreland students and staff beginning Monday, August 30, 2021. You may access testing Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 8:00 am at the Moreland School District office located at 4711 Campbell Ave., San Jose, CA 95130.
Testing samples will be shipped for testing and results will be emailed to you in 24-72 hours. To participate in Moreland School District COVID testing this year, all families NEED to register using the provided link for the testing process. Click here for the links and more information.

Are you in need of a preschool program for your three or four-year-old child? The Moreland Preschool at Payne is open to children of all neighbors to provide preschool and child care services for families. This year, families may also choose between a three-hour or five-hour program for their three-year-old child. Swing by in person and personally meet Moreland’s new Superintendent Dr. Clover Codd on August 31st anytime from 2pm - 4pm. This Meet & Greet is for all Moreland families and community members, and will be held in an Open House format in the District Office Board room.
