In an effort to better accommodate and support our student’s tech needs the Tech Dept will shift our onsite tech support days to Wednesday afternoons (1pm-3:30pm) at the same sites we had previously for the Thursday support hours. This will start on 11/4/2020 and moving forward

It's wonderful to see so many 4th and 5th grade students embarking on a new year of music education! Did you know that in some of our neighboring school districts music is a club, an extra-curricular activity or a pay-to-play enrichment option. Moreland's music program aligns with state and national curriculum standards for music education and has the support of the board of trustees, the administration and the community, Donate Today: With support from MEF and music parents like you, Moreland is able to maintain this exceptional music program and to ensure that it is free for all students. MEF asks each music family to donate $200 per student, or what you can afford, to be used exclusively for the music program.

While in a Distance Learning format, teachers and staff are not able to supervise students' use on the Internet during the school day outside of Zoom. The District encourages families to once again review the Technology Use Agreement with their children and have ongoing conversations about safe internet practices, appropriate Internet usage, and monitor what sites children are visiting.

Families to Farmers has donated Chicken products for distribution to Moreland households. These donations will be served on designated days and times at our curbside meal locations.

The deadline for submission of a 2020-2021 meal application has been extended to December 31, 2020. Even though the waiver that allows the District to feed all students has been extended, it is very important that you complete a new application so that your free/reduced status is updated before January 1, 2021 to help support current District funding levels. Applications are available on the district website. Paper copies of the applications are available in the school office.

On the following dates in November we will be following the Conference Schedule. November 12, 13, 16,17,19,20. This means that Kinder will get out of school at 11:35 and 1st through 5th will be dismissed at 1:25. For the 12:55-1:25 school time for students grades 1st through 5th teachers will assign independent work during that time. Wednesday’s follow the current schedule. All conferences will be held by Zoom. Look out for more information from your child’s teacher

La fecha límite para la presentación de una solicitud de comida 2020-2021 se ha extendido hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2020.
